Sydney Maya Raby

       Hello, I'm Sydney (She/They), a sophomore at Case Western Reserve University, pursuing a B.A. in Theater Arts with a concentration in Acting, alongside a major in Cognitive Science. My passion lies in musical theater, acting, and applied theater, particularly in telling stories that contribute to positive change in the world.

       My journey in the performing arts began at a young age. Back then, theater was simply a fun activity. However, as I've matured, it has evolved into a powerful tool for impacting the world around me. Today, my creative focus centers on storytelling and its ability to foster empathy and human connection. I find purpose in theatre that carries meaningful narratives.
       The impact of theatre extends far beyond the stage. When harnessed effectively, it becomes a vehicle for advocacy, humanization, and empathy—work that deeply resonates with me. My goal is to bring this transformative art to my communities, using it to share powerful stories that have the potential to change the world.
